I said it before, corduroy pants are my savior. And this pair by Current/ Elliott in more ways than one.
I was biking to Geneva, a 10k route that I take every time I want to go to town. My photo equipment was hanging from a bag my handlebar. The road was icy, so I was driving carefully. And I would have made it. If only not my tripod would have slipped. It got stuck between my front wheel. Blocking everything in an instant. I went flying. I landed on hands and knees. Strangely, nothing hurt. And I could get up, got up, and biked on. The drivers in the cars behind me must have thought that I was crazy. But what was even crazier, my cords were still intact. I have some experience with falling and normally your pants are done.
So let's say I did this on purpose. To give you this review. Not only do they fit great, are very comfortable, but if you are a crazy person like me who goes biking through snow and ice, with tripods hanging dangerously from handlebars, and you come to fall, they will survive!
Now I have to go find a bag that will hold my photo equipment safely. Any suggestions?
