It is a date!

What to wear with a leather skirt? I put on this sweater and blouse for lunch with my guy. That same morning I received an invitation to a seminar: ' How to find love.'
I already found the right one.  But it made me curious. What would they teach?
Maybe how to dress on a first date?
Of course, we Europeans don't really date. Most relationships here form organically or even sloppily.  And I am already married. You could say that I am not an expert at all on the subject of going on a first date. But bear with me. (and tell me if I am wrong please!)

On a first date you could go your manrepelling way. Or you go the opposite way and dress to please men.
But I like to cut the poor guy some slack. Both can be a bit intimidating. Of course if you are just looking for a good time, just wear whatever you want, it won't matter anyway.

Let's say you are looking for something serious. You want to create vibe were you could both relax, talk, laugh, flirt. There is no need to test or seduce yet.
This is what I would wear:
a floral shirt, to set you apart.
A leather skirt.
And tone the whole thing, the sexiness and femininity, down with a sweatshirt.
Every outfit that is equally subtle and mixes different parts of your personality would do. It adds intrigue, and maybe confusion. Well actually that is always a good bet, confusion leads to curiosity, leads to a second date. No?
