Live like a London girl: Upper street

This week I made my way up North London to Islington. And immediately fell in love with Upper Street, Cross Street and Camden Passage in Angel.
I got out at the Highbury Islington station and walked down to Angel station.
On Upper street beauty stores are all huddled together, Kiehls, Malin+Goets and Neal's Yard Remedies.
Wild Swans is a scandanavian fashion heaven, Ganni, Hunkydory, ceramics by Broste Copenhagen and makeup by Kajear Weis, amazing!
And on the other side of the street you find a great furniture store selling modernist classics, TwentyTwentyone.

I liked Cross street even better, you could re-do your whole house, I saw an amazing tile store, a carpet shop next door, Farrow and Ball and Red earth right next to each other...
And then there is Paper Mache Tiger, where surrounded by plants and super cute brands like Etre Cecile and Herculies you eat cakes and drink the best hot chocolate.
Camden Passage is a pedestrian back alley, full of independent boutiques, too many to mention, but I especially liked Smug, a concept boutique, with fifties furniture, stationary and home goods and they have workshops on the upstairs floor.
Next time I will go late in the afternoon and afterwards grab dinner at the just opened Radici, it features my favorite cuisine, that of the South of Italy, Calabria, it was buzzing when I walked by, and the reviews are excellent.
