I sometimes I live too much in my own head. Writers are all guilty of that. I just saw Ruby Sparks, and it nailed the messed up ways of a writer's mind perfectly. You tend to spend more time in the place you invented than in the real world.
So if you by example are writing about a little town, in Italy, at sea, where spring just started, you may pull out crisp colors from your closet in the morning. Without even noticing that outside the temperature suddenly dipped. But that is the nice thing about fashion these days. You can get away with it. Rules don't apply anymore. At least that is what I tell myself.
So, this is what I am wearing next spring. Only that it was yesterday. But hey, at least I am wearing cosy cashmere.
