One week till Christmas, and I am already starting to wear more velvet, satin and lace. Not only the coming holiday inspire me.
On researching my next book, I have been reading a lot about forties and fifties Noir movies. The Femme fatales, Rita, Ava, Veronica, are stuck in my mind. I would love be be able to walk around in a satiny black gown during daytime. But let's face it, the postman would only give me weird looks.
Next week I will glam my lace jacket up, for now I am wearing it as casually as possible.
I see a lot of discussion about wearing blue and black, or brown and black. I don't see the issue. Why not wear blue, brown and black together, it gives a bit of depth to a look.
Another thing. I am wearing an Everlane box cut tee. I love the cut and the cotton.  I don't know if it is my favorite t-shirt yet, but it comes very close.
And one last thing, the snow is gone, so more brighter and sharper pictures coming up. Have a great start of the week!
