My entryway: the Downton Abbey solution.

 I can finally decorate my entry way. I decided to make a mudroom in the garage, so my dogs, my guy, his bike and me, can leave our dirt behind, a few steps from the door. My hope is that way upstairs it will remain pristine. 

I don't know why I haven't thought of it before. Keeping mud, dirt and clutter from entering solves the problem of trying to keep my house clean on snowy and rainy days. 

I still can't decide between a sleek black and white entrance, or a more of a beachy organic feel.
