I never understood buying a winter coat or jacket in August. Maybe, if you will go for that very trendy coat, but let's face it, the best ones are classic and cool and there are plenty of them around right now. December and January are good months to invest in a coat.
If where paying attention to the angels, going around Paris, before and after the Victoria Secret show, you would have seen plenty of great coats, big puffy ones, long flawy ones. But the favorite was of course the leather jacket, the eternal model off duty staple.
If you need something a little more warmer, drape yourself in another indestructible favorite, the navy coat. A big part of the French girls wardrobe. Military, mod, classic, sexy, you can style it how you want it, and it will get you everywhere and stand out and fit in at once.
I am wearing my blue peacock everywhere, and living in London now, it's such an easy choice.
Same for the perfecto, the name says it all. I included lots of vegan options, the Zara one is amazing and these days there really is no excuse, you can't tell the difference (they tend to be warmer!)
