Get the Look: La Menagere in Florence

A few months ago when we visited Florence, we parked our camping-van on the outskirts, rented a bike and cycled to town along the Arno. It was a relaxed way to get into town. And to burn off all the calories we indulged in while visiting the Mercato Generale and the gorgeous La Menagere.

If you never heard about La Menagere, it has been voted the second most beautiful restaurant in Europe. Once a marketplace, his brick walls and vaulted ceilings now house one of Florence most buzzing places. You can spend all day here, the food is great, from pastries, to casarecce alla san Giovese, and added bonus, at night they serve glam cocktails.

Leaving my guy at his table, I wandered around, taking pictures, feeling very inspired by the decor. It was right up my ally, vintage chairs, recycled objects, large pendants, floating orchards, industrial serving cars ( I have three myself, too many but can't help myself) and a flower stall with vintage wooden crates.
I fell in love with the pendents, all from Karman, I am thinking about switching a modernistic one that I have now, for this enormous lace distressed one. What do you think?
