The formula for a perfect entryway

I wanted to sell the antique mirror we had in the Cedar House, but after painting it black, I decided to use it in Lucca. We don't have an official entryway there, you immediately walk into the living room, but there is a console on the left and an open closet for coats and shoes to the right.

An entryway sets the tone for the rest of the house and has to be ultra-practical and beautiful. This is my formula for the perfect one:

You'll need:

Hooks. We used traditional artisan hooks made in Lucca. I love the Danish simplicity of the this Ash curved hook

Console, ours is Ikea, this farmhouse console is a favorite. And if you really want to make an impact, I love this CB2 bone inlay one

A gold pleated mirror

A Catch-all

A cute charging station

A lamp, like the beautiful wicker one in Laura Harrer's entryway. This is my favorite.

A gorgeous vase

A beautiful and subtle mail organizer

And a room spray or candle. I love these Cool Girl ones.

And you are done, welcome home!
