Gucci send geeky girls down the runway wearing trench coats, pom beanies and loafers. In her Etoile look book Isabel Marant reinterprets the trend, in a very laid back Franch way.  The look book has this cool Fame like vibe of ballerina's hanging out after practice, and provides a ton of inspiration, for the layering seasons. I have my eye on a Etoile knit, sweatshirt and skirt. But it is quite simple to emulate that nonchalant cosy look with more affordable items, I really like the dress and blouse in that category.
